The Melbourne Street Eatz website is a vibrant digital hub designed to capture the high-energy, community-driven atmosphere of one of Victoria’s premier food truck festivals. The project focuses on creating a visually immersive experience that bridges the gap between a physical event and its online presence.

Project Overview
The core objective was to build a dynamic, mobile-responsive platform that serves both as an informational guide for festival-goers and a high-impact marketing tool for the brand. The design prioritizes “the vibe”—using a masonry-style image gallery and rich media to immediately communicate the festival’s diverse offerings, from world-class street food and live music to family-friendly outdoor entertainment.

Key Features
Visual Storytelling: A bold, hero-centric layout that utilizes lifestyle photography and video integration to build anticipation and showcase the event’s atmosphere.

Event Management & Scheduling: A dedicated “Upcoming Events” section featuring stylized, individual event cards that provide clear, localized information for different festival dates and locations (such as the Knox residency).

Social Connectivity: Real-time Instagram integration to keep the content fresh and encourage community engagement, alongside a live video showcase to highlight past event successes.

Strategic Branding: The site features a clean, modern aesthetic with high-contrast typography and a playful color palette that aligns with the “Street Eatz” brand identity. It also includes a dedicated partners section to highlight corporate sponsorships and professional collaborations.

Functional Footfall: Designed with the user journey in mind, the site includes easy-to-navigate sections for event details, FAQ, and “Get Involved” portals for potential vendors and staff.

The Result
The final product is a comprehensive event platform that successfully manages high-volume traffic while maintaining a fast, engaging user experience. It serves as a central pillar for the festival’s digital strategy, effectively driving attendance and fostering a sense of community for food enthusiasts across Melbourne.
