For Ascot Food + Wine, owners Dave Stewart and Shaun Hampson have focused on creating a truly unique Bistro experience. Only the finest local ingredients are used in a menu designed and created by Chef Dave Stewart. The carefully manicured wine list features wines from Australia, France, New Zealand, Spain, Italy and Germany.
We’ve been refining our approach ever since — responding to what clients actually need, not what the industry says is fashionable this season. Like any craft worth taking seriously, it’s been a process of doing, adjusting, and doing again. We’ve turned down work that didn’t fit. We’ve taken our time when time was there to be taken. And we’ve come out the other side knowing exactly what we are.
We’re not here to be the most avant-garde studio in the room. We’re here to do the classic things — identity, type, layout, colour — with real care and real skill. The kind of work that looks right on day one and still looks right in ten years.
We’re based in St Kilda, Melbourne. We see a lot of familiar faces, and that’s exactly what we wanted: to be the studio people come back to. Easy to work with, hard to fault.
